Sting jet

Tonight is the last episode of the Traitors… who will win the money? I’ll find out later.

The night was not that great – fired up by the penultimate episode of the Traitors, watched after my trip to Oxford, and that was late.

The day was pretty wretched – miserable and dull. Our walk was in quite strong winds but nothing like those which Eowyn gifted to Scotland and Ireland. Things have been particularly bad in Ireland. Horrendous damage has been caused by record strength winds. Carnage apparently. A stingjet was responsible. (As was the storm in 1987 but sting jet was unknown/uninvented back then)

Here, there was a tree down on the way to Wallingford. And that was a fruitless journey because I could not even get into Waitrose car park. All I wanted were some particular spices. And, of course, it’s fish Friday. -20% off fresh fish.

I did not do anything much today unless you want me to tell you about doing the washing, changing the bedding, and emptying the dish washer. And I may have had a brief snooze.

As I have mentioned, the walk was windy. Wearing a dress was not the most sensible garment to don for a windy walk. However my coat kept it largely under control.

I have set alarms to arouse me lest I fall asleep before the all important Traitors final. In the event, they were not needed, and became annoying, because I was with it and ready. So was Eleanor, neither of us was able to predict the outcome. Far too many twists and risks.
It’s been a good series. No spoilers.

Thought for the Day

And that was Eowyn too.
