Not a great night. But I was looking forward to a peaceful day ahead. Which was what I ended up enjoying.
The start of the day seems so long ago now, I can hardly remember it!
Much of it was spent on my backside involved in some frenetic knitting. And watching various things on catch up TV. I’ve given Black Doves a rest and am concentrating on various old series of Shetland.
H and I went walkies around lunch time, at Cholsey once more, where persons are busy chopping down untidy thickets of trees. Well, thinning them out, and tidying them up is a better description. And more paddling took place.
The garden received a quick tidy up from me, setting upright the various plant pots that Darragh had sent flying. And organising the small planters on the table outside the patio doors. Two given after T died and one more sturdy pot that Pen brought.
I was very excited that a new series of Strike is available from today. That would sort the evening.
And that was my day of nothingness. I must start wrapping things soon. It usually takes several hours but my bag solution helps. Now recycled bags.

Not a great photo is it? Better than nothing outside the house.
Thought for the Day
