Sort of Busy

The third of my three day art workshop foundation days on watercolour is tomorrow. I shall be sad when these are over because I have found them really helpful.

It is also Frankie’ s 21st Birthday. Happy Birthday to Frankie.

But hey, 14 December, I am attending a half day on Christmas angels and on March 8 I’m booked onto a textures landscapes half day. A late treat from Penny.

I don’t think I slept particularly well. Whatever, I was up quite early. Ali and Dave were off to Bath for a day of fun, and I had received a message asking me to look in on Minnie, which I did later in the morning.

Sharon arrived around 9.30 and did a very thorough job cleaning up after me. After an initial chat, I went to work on the third version of the homework Denny had asked us to do. Sheep in a snowy field. I still don’t quite have the desired result but it will have to do.

With this under control, it was now time to gather up Minnie and head outside, where the sun was shining and the sky was blue. And it was only slightly chilly.

We had a very pleasant slow walk. Well I was slow, the dogs were not and must have covered twice the distance,

A massive tree has taken a tumble since I last used this gate a few days ago. And the ground has become slippery round the field.

We returned Minnie home, the children would be back from school in a couple of hours to provide her with company. Heidi will be going there for a play date tomorrow whilst I’m being a painter. I think I’m then on doggy duty again.

The rest of the day passed in a sort of hazy daze and I was in bed early.

Thought for the Day
