Busyish Domestically

Usual sort of night passed me by. I was up and about at an early ish sort of time and headed for the craft room.

It was not a day to want to be outside. Who likes grey cloud and rain? I hoped it would pass. In the meantime I got on with some more painting but it was not entirely satisfactory.
Other domestic chores Interrupted proceedings, boring things like dealing with rubbish. Too damp to do anything outside. Also, there was a little residual tummy ache and occasional problems fed a tweaky reminder of yesterday’s indisposition.
By a process of elimination, I have come to realise that it must have been caused by reaction to the jab. This is because for lunch I ate the left overs of a meal from Saturday – the only other possible cause of my runs. No ill effects.

H and I put on our raincoats for a quick walk round Streatley Meadows and Rec. There, a friendly little curly haired dog joined us and became my firm friend as she had sussed out I had treats in my pocket. H kept a close eye on matters.

The wool had arrived so I decided to investigate the knitting challenge. It is not going quite to plan because I never seem to have the correct number of stitches which is not good news, because it will disturb the pattern. A row counter might be handy. But this is experiment number 1. Things can only get better.

While this was all going on, I had the Wives on in the background. The ending left me floored, but perhaps that was intentional.

Thought for the day.
