Second Day at home. There was some disturbance during the night, but I slept each side of it, not helped by having to take a monster of an antibiotic tablet at 02.00. The ones that are keeping sepsis at bay. Hopefully. And it was not so painful lying flat any more. But as for loo visits…
The day stretched deliciously in front of me, with no commitments. Apart from an assignation with a large bin bag. Unfortunately, it was a grey, dull, damp morning. Most uninviting.
So I had chores to carry out and the bin bag to fill with assorted items of rubbish secreted around the house. More rubbish bags joined the one I had just filled. I also put Tracey’s clean crockery and a thank you bottle of wine into a bag. The wine was as a thank you for feeding me yesterday.
H and I tottered on a short walk at Cholsey. I felt slightly wobbly so cut the walk short. In any case it was raining. I have also discovered I probably need to walk where there is a loo an available. I’m sure urgency for the loo is mostly in the mind. I’m informed it should improve. Time will tell.
I made a veg and lentil stew as a base for a shepherd’s pie which I baked in the oven. And then I ate it. It was very good. I have two more portions in the fridge. One will be curried up. As for the other…

I resisted no temptation to fall asleep. But watched a few episodes of Sherwood series 2. I had intended to catch up via series 1 which I remember was very good. Series 2 as far as episode 3 is hotting up quite viciously.
And that is about it.
H has been her usual delightful company spending time in the garden.
I have the dentist on Wednesday, in Benson. I hope they have a loo! I can sit untroubled for hours, but if I start to move around… perhaps I am becoming obsessed.
Thought for the Day
