Dry

I had a reasonable night. I was awake at around 05.00 when I went and found T some brekkie and me some coffee before I had the usual fruit/ yogurt/granola.
It was not raining.

T was not too good this morning- his cough was bothering him – more blood today. Not a huge amount, but instead of letting his chest rest he kept coughing and spitting. But he did get going to daycare although I was beginning to doubt that we would make it.

H and I went to Castle Meadows so she could have a decent run around, after a fairly static day yesterday. Today it did not rain, although it did try to.
It was chilly out there and damp underfoot. I chatted to a couple of different people. One was a lady and her dog who I have met several times. They live in one of the boats parked up. Or moored near by. We just had a general catch up.

The other lady was from Stadhampton but walks in various places familiar to us. She had a labradoodle with a coat unlike any other labradoodle I have seen. And she had a smaller dog which was some unusual breed but run of the mill in appearance. She was very complimentary about Heidi saying what a pretty face she had. I’m sure H understood as she appeared to simper.

A trip to Waitrose was next on the list but the car park was jam packed and I couldn’t be bothered to tour it in the hope of finding an empty spot. So we drove to Didcot to M and S instead. But they did not have some of the things I wanted.

However they had a loo which was quite handy, except it was occupied by someone changing a baby, which took forever. And the second loo was out of action. The baby changer must have found it tricky because there was nowhere to put the baby other than across your knee. Twin that with a dirty nappy and the results are not something to contemplate.

T was almost full of beans when I picked him up from the Daycentre. Not only is mixed company more stimulating than I can be, but he is distracted from his own condition.

I treated him to cake and tea and he went to sleep. And I might have done too.
I made him a cheese sandwich for his tea which seems to have disappeared at some point.

I mostly read and carried out some admin items which saw the evening drift by.

Thought for the Day
