I had another good night. It’s becoming a habit. And it’s definitely the snuffly congestion that sometimes keeps me awake.
Our cleaners were quite late today – T wouldn’t get up but they hoovered around him. He now has a nice smart bin for his rubbish, so his mucky tissues are not all heaped up in a wobbly pile.
The day was really horrid, very grey and very wet. But not too cold.
I put chickpeas in soak and then went to the Coop Filing station shop in Pangbourne which is where I had intended to walk H. Not at the filling station! By the river! I had originally intended to walk her in the Meadows first rain fell, loads of it so my plans all changed. H got walked at Streatley in the end.
I came home and set the chickpeas cooking and then set up the iPad for our zoom call with Andrew and alerted T to it. It was as clear as mud to him. He couldn’t understand why he needed to sit in front of the iPad for Andrew to be able to see him. We enjoyed a good half hour of chatter and will repeat the process in a few weeks time.
It was lovely to talk to Andrew who has been confined indoors for a while after some blisters turned into leg ulcers. T managed to carry on a decent conversation with him.
I prepared some veg so that I could throw the curry paste into a pan and quickly combine the ingredients including the chickpeas. This produced a lovely curry stew. Even T ate his portion. I could even hear his spoon scrape the bowl. This became my lunch/supper, though T had eaten finger snacks earlier.

Brekkie is becoming a layered blueberry/ granola/ fat free yogurt/ frozen fruit job. The fat free yogurt is growing on me, it has a sour taste that I like.
The day did not improve. And I pursued my usual evening pastimes . I must get knitting and I might stay awake.
Thought for the Day
