Film Show

Sleep was more compliant last night. I had a fair old stretch including during the evening. I was also less congested although I did feel a bit cold at some point or other.
I managed to get T to daycare.
He is now losing the plot over what a shower involves ie water AND soap. He went in and out of the shower without using either until I got the water going for him. And I then provided him with some sensible clothes to wear.

Despite a decent sleep, I felt very very tired this morning, and have not done the jobs I meant to do. I took H to Pangbourne and required a 10 minute chillax before I could get out of the car. H was apparently of a similar frame of mind.
We had to choose a different bench because some twit was occupying my preferred spot. H was not too impressed either because there was no nearby, easy, entry point to the river. Or entry – yes- exit- no.

We moved further upstream so that she could splash around. In between times, I gave her a good brushing so she looks less moth eaten, and certainly less fluffy.

After no little while enjoying the sun, we returned home and I cooked up a veg soup. It contained all the veg that might not survive the week away so the selection was somewhat indiscriminate. So was the flavour. Perhaps if I add a tin of tomatoes it will taste better.

It was then time to pick up T who had apparently serenaded everyone by combining with Trevor to perform a duet. Not sure about that!

I was dozing off on Friday evening when Fleur and Dave arrived for a cup of tea whilst George played hockey somewhere. We were treated to some of the unseen footage is their Peruvian trip which was very interesting. Even if you include all the selfies that Dave took. Of which there were several. (dozen) That made for a very pleasant interlude. It was played out on the large TV screen so all could see. Lots of interesting pics .
