Exhibition 2

After Monday’s debacle, Fleur and I were going to have another attempt at Kurt Jackson. T was scheduled for Daycare and was a bit reluctant to arise. A coughing explosion did not help. I had not slept particularly well due to my nose feeling stuffed. Stuffed with what is unclear. I will leave it to your imagination.

T was a bit unwilling to attend Day Care. I suspect he was just a bit tired or maybe it’s charms are beginning to wear off. But the screen posts later in the day reflected a happy T. And as for the roast dinner and strawberry gateau. They have a good cook.

I think he is singing!

H and I walked our way through a shower or two at Cholsey Rec. Before I returned H home and picked up Fleur.

Roadworks, a fortnight of the promised 6 weeks, have blocked off Streatley Hill for too long already. Deep trenches line the separating red plastic things and I’m glad we have a smaller car.
It is all very inconvenient.

We drove along the A4 to Newbury before diverting at the Crookham end of Greenham.
The exhibition hadn’t changed since I last visited but at least F got to see it this time. It is in its dying days and all those people who had been putting off visiting until the last minute, were there today. In my way. Parking was tricky. We explored various options – ie we did a tour of the commercial areas.
And, we had to sit outside for our coffee and snack. They had good cover outside, which was just as well because the rain tipped down.

By the time I had offloaded Fleur, it was time to pick up T. He appeared to have had a good day. And we returned home to do a bit of rain watching. Like you do bird watching. Only the birds were wisely hiding. So we watched the rain instead.
