Yes Google photos put together some memories of 2016. That was the year of T’s shoulder operation.
I had the best sleep I’ve had for quite a while and awoke quite late, with nothing to rush to get up for.
I offered T the opportunity to come for a walk, which he accepted, so we were even slower to get going.
Although everything gets delayed, when he comes, it is better for him to be up and out. I decided to go to Pangbourne because of all the benches and logs there. There is always somewhere for him / us to sit and I can walk on if I want to.
There is also always someone to talk to usually a dog walker or a boater.
It was a cloudy / sunny day with a pleasant breeze. H was a bit frustrated by all the rather selfish fisherman who were occupying her inlets into the water. They had spread their gear unnecessarily far and wide to act as a barrier against dogs, swimmers and paddle boarders. I’ve gone off fishermen.
We made it to H’s log where we exchanged a lot of affection and cuddles. And then returned to Moulsford via the B and W.

The drink became a snack which became a more fully developed lunch beside the river. It was very very pleasant. The river was not busy today, only a few boats and paddle boarders and the three cocks in a boat. They were on a week- long rowing trip to earn money for a prostate cancer charity.

Thames’ Moods – sultry and sunny

We returned home to recover from our naughtiness and not much else happened.
