No laughs today… well a few with F.
A reasonable night passed with the usual early activity.
T was his usual self, a self that managed to get himself up, showered and dressed and we were off to Daycare.
The day was not particularly attractive, being a bit cloudy and cool. I had planned to walk H at Cholsey Rec but the overflowing car park and presence of a lot of small people deterred me.
So instead we followed the track that follows the railway – either to Halfpenny Lane or to Cholsey station. But we did not get as far as either. It rained.
I see Clumps
The plan was to pick up Fleur and take her to the Art Exhibition in Greenham.
H was swapped for Fleur. And we departed avoiding the roadworks.
Well all the best laid plans go wrong… The exhibition is not open on a Monday or Tuesday. So that was a waste of time! Instead we had coffee and cake at the Honesty Cafe.
And then we went to Hobbycraft, which is nearby, for some painting, and other art requirements.
And then home. By now, it was raining good and proper. We were back earlier than expected due to the lack of exhibition so I had a half hour to spend on chores before picking up T.
F and I are going to try the exhibition again on Wednesday.
I’m feeling sad today because of decisions we will have to take in the next week or so. Decisions that I would rather not be faced with. Especially on good days like today. Our next appointment is on Thursday.
The afternoon passed involving a little snooze for each of us .
