Dead Watch

My Apple Watch died in the middle of the afternoon. I thought I had put it into charge but it had slipped off the charger. Luckily it has resurrected itself.

The night passed reasonably but I was suffering from what felt like quite severe back ache. I had put the blanket on at bedtime, that soothed my back but I had to get rid of the duvet because I was getting overheated.
It was still pretty uncomfortable in the morning so I took paracetamol and did some special back flexes and got myself moving. So, from feeling like I had been cut into two pieces, after a little second doze, I felt more complete and I was up and off.

T was delivered at Daycare and H and I took a very short and very pleasant walk at Cholsey Rec. It was a beautiful morning, not too hot, hosting a cooling breeze. We wandered up to the stream and I planted myself on the big log. H spent quite a while working out how to get into the water. Her descent was very steep involving chunky and deep tree root steps. She eventually worked it out. And generally kept herself busy in the tree thickets.

I had carefully parked the car in the shade of a big tree with plenty of space to each side. I had chosen Cholsey Rec so that I could tidy the car, in the shade, on the flat. It was full of all sorts of rubbish, including, shoes, coats, about 4 dog towels and two camping chairs.
But the nice car wash man has done a good job and it shines and smells nice.

Waiting for the car wash .

It was time to return home . And pay more effort and attention to my modern and personal Icon style picture. So that ensured my bum was on a chair for a few hours – well- about two. Nearly finished.

I picked up T in what was, by now, extreme heat. Around 27C I think. It has arrived rather suddenly- we have little opportunity to practice being hot. T is still wearing a sweater and two gilets.

It was time to relax. And do I did! Left over curry for supper, no effort required other than pressing the button on the microwave.

Thought for the Day
