Back into Routine

Well, Easter has been and gone and the schools start back today so normal routines are resumed.
It was a normal sort of night, with the usual sort of waking times and the usual start to the day.
After I awake, as I drink my coffee, and reach a level of consciousness, I usually play a series of word games with varying degrees of success.
I exchange successes with Eleanor who exchanges them with family. My family did do them but gave up. However a new and very annoying game as intruded on my peaceful mornings.
This game is annoying because it seems to be based on an AI approach (no, not artificial insemination) and you have to think like a computer. Or, failing that a lateral thinking thesaurus. It is a very long game. I’ve only solved it once without resorting to hints. It is unsettling my whole morning! Contexto…

Tony was up an hour earlier than necessary today so we swept out of the house an hour early and performed a quick walk round Cholsey Rec. I wanted to go further but T started to drag his feet.

H tried her best to get into the water but it was too high and the sides were too steep. In summer this stream is shallow and Sandy.

By then, it was just about time for me to drop him at his Day Centre. I noted Zumba was the afternoon activity. The staff looked hot and bothered when I picked him up. I think they had Zumbaed hard.

I was useless at Zumba though I haven’t tried it since the new knees. And as for doing it in water…

The attendees also each had to suggest advice for others to follow- T’s effort:

And why not?

H and I took ourselves to Lidl. I had only bought a small amount of fruit yesterday and what there was seems to have gone awol. Well Lidl has fruit at good prices and veg too. And all sorts of other strange and unidentifiable objects stacked up in heaps. Tools and equipment and strange garments. And the like.
Following that excitement, I drove home on the other side of the river to Goring. This was part of a cunning plan to see where my new art course would be taking place. The Coaching Barn in Little Stoke is the address. And I did find it, but I am glad I checked out it’s whereabouts before Wednesday.

Timing will be tight… drop T at 09.30 and get to Little Stoke for 10.00. And as for little H- she may have to be walked later in the day. I can’t trust T to get up while I walk her.

Once I was home, I made some soup from a collection of morbidly rank vegetables. By the time I had flung in a few spices and chilli powder, it was almost tasty. I forced myself to have some for lunch.
I am still awaiting any repercussions.
A little relaxation followed. The alarm pierced that, reminding me that I needed to gather up T.

My bedtime treats this evening included a lovely glass of warm tap water ;(. . And two rolls of toilet paper. Not just any old rolls, but the magnum rolls I have ordered lately. That I should be so lucky.

Thought for the Day
