Well… all the ‘will happens’ did happen and the ‘might happens’ became ‘will happens.’ This meant that I was out for almost all of the day. And little H was on her own for quite a while. This usually means beserk treatment when we arrive back, but today she was quite calm as I arrived to rescue her.
I awoke at some silly o’clock and couldn’t resettle. Until I had demolished a piece of toast. That allowed me to sleep until nearly 07.00.
T was up and ready for Daycare . H was up and ready for her shortish walk at Cholsey by the church. DCI sent me a link to fun games for older folk which was full of good suggestions. I forwarded it to Cholsey.
H and I trundled round by Cholsey church and then. I dropped H off at home and departed for my meeting which proved to be interesting and useful.
This was set up at the Hub to explore setting up a local group for those who are live in / family carers for someone with dementia. The idea was to gather people together to investigate what their needs are. It was a well attended meeting and others had written in describing what they would like. A regular get together was to be welcomed, but it showed that lots of people would have difficulty attending due to: 1. lack of transport/ 2. poor mobility or inability to load someone into transport/ 3. Inability to leave the person they are caring for.
Following my meeting, I had a spare half hour which I spent with a bowl of delectable pea soup and an egg sandwich in the local cafe. I also bought some tempting cake slices to offer to the family.
And then it was time to go up to Ali’s for coffee. And it was there that the ‘might’ go to the hairdresser in place of Fleur became ‘will’ go to the hairdresser in her place. Due to her being unwell. We share a hairdresser and I had an appointment anyway on Thursday which is now cancelled.
The cakes went down nicely. But we ran out!
And of course there was a problem picking up T from daycare because I couldn’t be in two places at once. So another ‘might happen’ became a will happen when Ali met T from Daycare. She got him flipping pancakes back at the house.
In the meantime, once my locks were shorn, I restocked up on cake and dashed home to let out H, who seemed unphased by my absence.

Then it was back to Ali’s with the extra cake.
George is in the middle of using his 3D printer and YouTube and preformed metal to put a nerf gun together. I had seen the bits earlier, but now that he was back from school he was able to put it together and fire it. It works! Great job G! Phew!
Back home at last after 18.00.

Shame it’s a weapon and it something less aggressive . A train perhaps!
We returned home around 18.00 to do nothing. T had eaten pancakes never mind his Daycentre lunch. I fell asleep.
It seems T dropped his Daycentre pancake and had seated Zumba in the afternoon.
