Two Short Ones

Routine sort of night. T was quite biddable about getting ready for Daycare. And was dropped off after which I took the two dogs up on Lardon Chase.
It was a beautiful sunny morning. And the views were slightly hazy, but far reaching. Some work had been done on the messy and straggly hedge, which is now layered up nicely, opening out the views.

This was the first short walk of the day. Heidi snuffled around in the bushes and Minnie played chase the ball in exchange for a treat. We didn’t have that long because I had to meet our cleaners to let them into the Illis’ house with my key.
When doing so, I checked that Freddy and Sephy had food.
And left the cleaners to it.
And went back to lock ip again a couple of hours later.
Back at home, I did domestic chores – lovely ones. Involving rubbish, dishwasher, the Miele and food.

And then it was time to rescue Daycare from T. They have had more Valentine activity – Valentine Bingo.

I took T and the dogs to Pangbourne Meadows for a late walk in the Spring Sunshine in a temperature that was around 16C. He still complained he was cold. We didn’t walk far but the dogs seemed to enjoy snuffling in the grasses; chasing the ball; chasing other dogs, and top activity- chasing birds.
The swans eventually arrived and there was a bit of a stand off where they taunted H from the water. Minnie was more interested in the ball.
I think it was good for T.

The swans soon lost interest in H because people were dishing out food further up on the river bank.

It’s good that we brought all that olive oil back from Greece. The price has risen by 40% in the last few months.
