Another quite a good night’s sleep though I was awake around 05.00. I had managed to stay awake for Traitors last night. It will finish tonight.
I managed to get T out of bed before the cleaners arrived, and now they’ve been and gone, the house looks and feels a whole lot better.
I took H for a walk through Streatley Rec and down to the river. It was horrid out there… grey, greasy, just nasty. I was in a minority too. Not many dogs were walking their humans.

Upon my return home, I found T had taken himself back to bed, so I took him an egg sandwich and left him to it whilst I went to the hairdresser where Ashleigh gave my locks the chop.
Ali is still suffering with Covid. Her cough is slightly better but a sore chest and headache have taken over.
I bought a book! It’s an interesting book, full of strange facts and figures. This page surprised me

It was quite late by the time I arrived home. Too late to acquire any last minute presents so I prepared supper using the two expensive jacket potatoes purchased from Goring Grocer. It’s just not the same as it used to be. Plenty of temptations but minus the choice of home made dishes.
If we are to stand any chance of reaching Killaton House by 11.00 on Christmas Eve (haha) the car must be loaded tonight. And we will have to leave home around 08.00. All quite unlikely really.
This is not a simple feat because it involves presents for over 10 people as well as 2x overnight clothes. T will get his own wheelie bag so he does not fiddle with mine. And H gets a carrier bag.
I’ve sent no Christmas cards this year. Might send some new year ones as I don’t have email addresses for some people.
Traitors has ended. No spoilers.
