I awoke in the middle of the night, watched a bit of Catch Up TV and went back to sleep. Until after 07.00. There was no reason to get up and it was -7C outside, so bed was the place to be.
I spent a bit more time on flexing. H stayed in her bed. T snored on.
Eventually I arose to get yet more tablets from the GP as he has adjusted some dosage downwards. That will be a relief.
I walked H at Cholsey again where it was magical. The crystals in the grass have grown and developed in the various frosts that have descended each night. Our daft dog had a lovely roll in the frost, in the shadows. And to think, I thought Oskar was supposed to be the potty one of the pair.

By the time H and I were out walking, it was around lunch time and the sun had had opportunity to work on the frost.
My other main chore was to visit Waitrose to pick up a John Lewis order. They have a clever new system where you check in online with your collection location. Then the parcel is waiting for you.
I gathered up a few extra items whilst I was at Waitrose and returned to cook an ‘afternoon’ lunch. T actually ate it. In pyjamas still.
The temperature actually rose above freezing whilst I was out and about, but it has descended to -3C again. By Monday it will be really warm again – good – because that is the day I have 11 mouths to feed. It’s going to be almost Mediterranean.
Val is now hooked on Traitors and spent last night and today on catch up!
And this evening’s episode fed my addiction.
Thoughts for the Day
