When I woke up, I realised something was missing – the horrid screeching at the entrance to the studio. The silence was eerie. The calm was refreshing.
Having left T with a hot drink, H and I bumped our way down to Elafonisi. It was a beautiful morning, almost cloudless. There was a little bit of a breeze down there but it was not cold.
The new grey lead had gone missing after our vain attempt to walk H in an effort to persuade her to do a wee yesterday afternoon. So I walked over the same area in case it had landed out there. But it was not to be seen.
Our stroll was to the little bays. It starts along the coast path and over a few rocks at the start. It passes through low lying scrub and humps of wild thyme and is quite pretty.

We returned with damp toes. I wanted to wash the car windows which were so encrusted with salt that I could barely see out of them. I also had a go at wiping the chocolate off the passenger seat. Then… I found the missing lead, carelessly thrown onto the back seat.
There was no Maria today and so no treat for H. She has obviously moved on.
T was not up which is entirely unusual when we got home.
I took brekkie on the warm Patio.
I had decided we would return to AL yet again, in the hope that the reduced wind would allow a swim. Well it was still breezy there with well ruffled waters. But- swim I did. I stayed away from the more rocky waters .
At times there were no other people there but visitors came and went.
There were no other people in the water for some reason or other. It was very refreshing but also very pleasant. T wrapped himself up in various protective garments and remained fairly patient. But I would have stayed longer if left to my own devices.

He has a bench to move onto should he get fed up with the sunbed.
We ate a good lunch at Stomio on the way into the mountains. And returned home for quite a deep snooze.
Back in the UK, we are trying to organise a farewell party for Timur in Moulsford Village pavilion. Hence my involvement. As a resident of Moulsford we get a better price. It is a very beautiful place to hold a function. Though I expect 6 year olds can trash it nicely.
