A relatively peaceful night with an 05.00 wake up and plenty of nagging time to get T up for delivery to day care and to pick Lena up for delivery to English lessons.
It was forecast to be very hot and the skies were already blue.
Once my deliveries were completed, H and I ventured to Millennium Wood at Long Wittenham. The trees would provide shady cover but it was still already very hot. H kept disappearing into the depths of the trees, becoming invisible and reappearing unreliably, so she got clipped on the lead. I didn’t have the patience to hang around while she did her thing. It was too hot.

I left H at home whilst I went to meet Lena because I didn’t want to cook her in the car. Lena was a few minutes late and it was really hot and uncomfortable waiting for her. So I sat in the car, which was cooler.
Having dropped her-off …
I then carried out a few domestic chores and hid inside for a while, fighting to stay awake because I had to pick upT around 15.00. I set three alarms in case I succumbed, and I certainly needed the first one.
The Day Centre was pleasantly cool. I suggested that the visitors there might wish to stick themselves in their fridges when they arrived home.
I have done little today.
I brought T home and we vegetated.
Some good news has landed :

Frankie is in Zante with 5 girlfriends. They look as though they are having fun , much as 18 year olds would. Unfortunately today she is not well.

So the afternoon has sort of passed me by. Too hot to do anything apart from melt.
Thought for the Day – toilet vibes!
