And so 2025 drifts by …the sun has disappeared and ‘dismality’ has taken control of daylight once again,
There are all sorts of things I could be doing, but none are urgent, so time hangs heavy. I don’t think I have ever noticed this period lasting from Christmas to Epiphany pass so slowly before. I’m not sure whether to luxuriate in it or resent it.
In some ways it’s quite satisfying being able to please myself doing nothing but it’s actually also quite boring. If I was better on my feet, I could stretch our walks.
Snow is forecast but none was falling when I last looked. And the temperatures will rise before they drop again. So inconsistent on a day to day basis and for the time of year.
I did walk H … the surface of the pond was thinly iced.

Thought for the Day
