It was a bit of an up and downer of a night. The day dawned dry with blue skies arriving later.
Since Anne was not coming there was no need to rush to get up and I decided to walk H later near the Bear at North Moreton. This was where we were booked for lunch.

T managed to spoil this walk too. Although the skies were blue, the day was a chilly one thanks to a stiffish breeze. However as we explored that big cricket green and other territory near the pub, I found a lovely sheltered warm spot beside some picnic tables. By now, I had mislaid T and spotted him in the distance headed back towards the (locked) car.
I am unwilling to leave him with access to the car because he fiddles with its contents – eg paperwork in the glove compartment etc.
I am also getting quite close to no longer taking him to pubs etc because his behaviour is beginning to become embarrassing due to his loss of filter. This manifests itself particularly as impatience when waiting for a different course or coffee etc.
Our lunch was amazing. The vegetable accompaniments – well- we were defeated in the end – potatoes, carrots, parsnip, mashed swede, red cabbage, kale and leeks, and cauliflower cheese.

We staggered home to snooze off our lunch. And to do not much else.
In fact, I’m not very sure what did happen to the rest of the day. The final episode of Call the Midwife featured. As did an episode of The Great Pottery Throw Down. Epic!
